Stephanie Kaye Frye

Stephanie Kaye (Brooks) Frye, 53, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born August 7th, 1968 in Indianapolis to her parents, Larry and Susie K. (Kingsbury) Brooks, where she lived for 18 years. She married Tracy Frye on November 14th, 1987. She was a resident of Mooresville since 1986. Stephanie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 34 years, Tracy Frye of Mooresville; one daughter, Sami Jo (Riley) Howden of Mooresville; one son, Jordan (Cassie) Frye of Mooresville; seven grandchildren: Jaxson Frye, Maura Howden, Bennett Frye, Louise Howden, Dansby Howden, Ezra Frye and Crosby Howden; her father, Larry (Debbie) Brooks; Pappy, Everett Hendren; one brother, Scott (Kim) Brooks; three nieces; and one nephew. Stephanie is preceded in death by her mother, Susie Brooks. Stephanie was a 1986 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She was a School Bus Driver for Mooresville School Corporation for 20 years. Stephanie also was a Beautician for a number of years. She was a member of Gasburg Baptist Church. Stephanie loved to go shopping and enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, September 6th and from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 7th at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 7th at the banquet center. Stephanie will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant at Hall Cemetery in Hall.
