Stella Scott

Stella P (Moore) Scott, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, November 26th, 2020. She was born December 8th, 1926 in Perry County, Kentucky to her parents, Letcher R. and Stella (Sandlin) Moore. She married the late Sherman R. Scott on September 17th. 1981. Stella is survived by her four sons: Thomas W. Harris of Texas, Harold D. Harris of Texas, Donald Harris of Indianapolis, and James D. Harris of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers: Raymond L. Moore of Scottsburg and Floyd C. Moore of Greenwood; one sister, Lydia Payton of Florida. Stella is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Sherman R. Scott, one brother, Charles M. Moore and one sister, Ann Allen. Stella was a Homemaker and a member of Greasy Creek Pentecostal Church in Nashville. Family and friends may show their love and support at a graveside service at 11 am on Tuesday, December 1st at Centerton Cemetery in Centerton where Stella will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Sherman.
