Shirley Kaiser

Shirley R. Kaiser, 78, of Monrovia died on Thursday, June 23, 2011 in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on May 16, 1933 to Raymond and Margaret (Stith) Farmer. She married George Kaiser on January 31, 1953. Shirley lived just a short time in Louisville and lived most of her life in Monrovia. She enjoyed bowling, playing horshoes and softball. She was a homemaker most of her life but worked a short time at Nice Pak and Federal Mogul in Mooresville and also Walmart in Plainfield. She is survived by 7 children: Marsha Ritenour of Greenwood, Steve Kaiser of Enid, Oklahoma, Ray Kaiser of Port Charlotte, Florida, Randy Kaiser of Belfair, Washington, Lorra Scott of Plainfield, Kelley Holt of Sneadsferry, NC and Christie Thompson of Monrovia; 16 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren; 1 brother, Roger Farmer of Morgantown. Visitation will be 2-6pm, Monday, June 27, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 6pm, Monday, June 27, 2011 also at Jones Family Mortuary.
