Shirley Davis

Shirley A. Davis, 72, of Mooresville, IN, died on October 26, 2011. Shirley was born to Floyd & Opel Gaynell (Sexton) Chastain on January 16, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN. Shirley was a Homemaker. She lived in Mooresville, IN most of her life. She attended St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, going to church at Meadow Lakes, playing Bingo and spending time with family, especially the grandkids. Shirley is survived by 3 children, Pamela Harris of Mooresville, IN, Curtis Davis of Mooresville, IN & Ronald Davis of Mooresville, IN; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Michael Chastain of FL; 2 sisters, Tina Spears & Mary Lou Chastain of FL. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd & Opel Gaynell (Sexton) Chastain and a brother, Donald Sexton. Calling will be from 3-8pm, Sunday, October 30, 2011 and 12-1pm, Monday, October 31, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Joseph Bailey will officiate the 1pm funeral service on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Shirley A.
