Sandra Settle

Sandra L. (Armstrong) Settle, 81, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2015. She was born on February 17, 1934 to Warren and Evelyn (MeNeeley) Armstrong in Frankfort. She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1952.

Sandra worked for Citizens Bank in Mooresville for 15 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Mooresville Church of God. She lived in Mooresville for 65 years, Hammond for 5 years and her birthplace of Frankfort.

Sandra is survived by five children, Samra L. Brown of Mooresville, James S. Settle Jr. of Oakland City, Rhonda L. Dorsett of Mooresville, Rebecca A. Geary of Kokomo, Sharyl M. Gibson of Avon; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Armstrong of Evansville. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Evelyn (MeNeeley) Armstrong.

Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Chaplain Steve Kehrer and Chaplain Beau Hamlin will officiate the 12 noon celebration of life on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Sandra will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
