Ruth Ann Becker (Lawrence)

Ruth Ann (Lawrence) Becker, 82, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, May 16th, 2025. She was born May 6th, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to her parents Robert and Josephine (Hill) Lawrence. She married Jack L. Becker on July 13th, 1963 and the two spent nearly 62 beautiful years together.

Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Jack L. Becker of Mooresville; her daughter, Annette Piotrowski (Michael) of North Carolina; four grandchildren: April Severs (Josh), Hollyann Wright (Issac), Mickey Piotrowski (Paige), and Kevin Piotrowski (Alexa); nine great grandchildren: Finnley, Anika, John, James, Luke, Maren, Jackson, Colton, and Connor; one brother, Robert Lawrence Jr. (Sandy); two sisters: Joann Guindon and Mary Simon (Keith); and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth Ann is preceded in death by both of her parents; her son, Jeff Becker; and one great-grandchild, Jordan Wright.

Ruth Ann, a 1961 graduate of Saginaw High School in Saginaw, Michigan, was a cherished member of Camby Community Church in Camby, Indiana, as well as a former member of Saginaw First Church of the Nazarene. Her love for sewing and creating paper dolls brought her joy, and she found great fulfillment in spending quality time with her family. Ruth Ann had a passion for cooking and was an enthusiastic fan of Elvis Presley. She was well-known for her heartfelt care and compassion for others, truly touching the lives of those around her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
