Ruby Barlow

Ruby R. (Webb) Barlow, 86, of Camby, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Meadow Lakes. She was born July 27, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Oliver and Dorothy (Bishop) Webb. She married Maurice Barlow on February 21, 1948.

Ruby was a cook for Inkoff' Tavern in Indianapolis for 25 years before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed reading and following Travis Tritt as she was a big fan.

Ruby is survived by 2 children: Mary Ellen Dickerson of Camby and Myron (Leah) Barlow of Mooresville; 3 granddaughters: Rosella Sek, Melanie Ferrando and Jamie Walls; 8 great-grandchildren; great-great grandson and sister, Sharon Keller of TX. Ruby is also preceded by her husband, Maurice Barlow; parents, Oliver and Dorothy (Bishop) Webb; 3 sisters: Florence Summers, Evelyn Starks and Joyce Green; brother, Edward Webb and great-granddaughter, Mara Ferrando.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 9-10 a.m. at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Steve Kehrer will officiate the celebration of life service on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Ruby will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
