Roy Tooley

Roy E. Tooley, 83 years of age passed away Monday, September 8, 2008. He was born January 23, 1925 in Princeton, IN to the late Irvin and Beatrice (King) Tooley. He married the late Ernestine (Page) Tooley on August 14, 1944. Roy has been a Monrovia Resident since 1964. He was a 1944 Bicknell High School graduate and was also an Air Force Corporal Veteran from World War II. Before retiring in 1987, he was a Conductor for Conrail in Avon, IN for 38 years. Roy is survived by 4 Children: Roy Tooley of Monrovia, IN, James Tooley of Orange Park, FL, Larry Tooley, and Marsha Matt of Greenfield, IN; 10 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Sister, Marjorie Ellison of Washington. Calling for Roy will be from 5-8pm, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 and from 1-2pm, Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 2pm, Thursday, September 11, 2008 with Dennis Payton to officiate. Roy will be laid to rest at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville, IN.
