Ronald Sr.

Ronald Eugene Young Sr., 70, of Martinsville passed away Wednesday February 15, 2006. He was born October 31, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Oscar Young and the late Leona J. (Stapleton) Young-Detweiler. He lived in Grand Junction, CO for most of his life and in Martinsville for 13 years. He graduated high school and went for 2 years at Ohio State University and 2 years at Danville Community College in Danville, ILL. Ronald was an electrician for 45 years and retired in 1982. He also owned and operated 2 town bars in Grand Junction, CO called "Dutch's Fly By NIght" and "Double R. Bar". He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Grand Junction, CO. Ronald was in the Navy for the Korean War in 1958. Ronald was survived by 6 children: Ron Young Jr. of Martinsville, Mike Young of CO, Patricia Young of Indianapolis, Daniel Young of CO,Lynda Denney of Indianapolis, and Camby Lindsey of CO. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and her Twin sister, Gretta Oliver of OH. The arrangements were taken care of by Jones Family Mortuary. There will be no services.
