Robert L. Silvers

Robert L. "Bob" Silvers, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, December 9th, 2021. He was born August 18th, 1951 in Somerset, Kentucky to his parents, Artman and Ruby (DeBord) Silvers. He married Elizabeth A. (Gross) Silvers on December 29th, 1974. He was a resident of Indianapolis for over 50 years. Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 47 years, Elizabeth A. (Gross) Silvers of Indianapolis; one son, Aaron L. Silvers of Indianapolis; one daughter, Michelle (Richard) Spencer of Mooresville; two grandchildren: Ezekiel and Zona Spencer; one sister, Sandra; and two brothers, Frank and Roger. Bob is preceded in death by both of his parents; and one grandson, Nevin Spencer. Bob was a 1969 graduate of Mitchell High School. He later obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Arts from Herron School of Art and Design, graduating in 1975. Bob was a Paste Up Artist for Bosley Studios in Indianapolis for 25 years. He enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales. Bob was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following Covenant Christian Athletics. One of the things he loved to do most was spend time with his family. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 15th and from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, December 16th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 16th following the visitation at the funeral home. Bob will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery in Camby.
