Robert G. Squires Jr., 64 years of age passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009. He was born October 12, 1944 in Mooresville, IN to the late Robert G. Squires Sr. and Geneva (Gunnell) Squires of Monrovia. Robert married Virginia "Gail" Squires who still survives. Robert has lived in Mooresville, IN and Monrovia, IN for most of his life. He also lived in Zephryhills, FL for 20 years. He was a self employed Auto Mechanic and Handyman for 40 years and retired in 2003. He also loved fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his Wife, Virginia "Gail" Squires; 1 Daughter, Kimberly Shields of Monrovia, IN; 1 Son, Robert G. Squires III of Indianapolis, IN; Mother, Geneva Squires of Monrovia, IN; 1 Brother, Jerry Squires of Alabama; 3 Granddaughters: Taylor, Victoria, and Alisha; and 1 Grandson, Zachariah. Calling hours for Robert Jr. will be from 5pm-6pm, Thursday, January 15, 2009 with the Memorial Service beginning at 6pm at the Monrovia Christian Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or the Monrovia Christian Church. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
