Robert Greene

Robert Greene, 71, of Poland, IN, died on May 20, 2011. He was born to Harold and Doris (Flack) Greene on July 13, 1939 in Turtle Creek, PA. He married Ruth (Watson) Greene in 1956. Before retiring in 1990, he was a Maintenance Foreman for A.M. General for 26 years. He loved fishing and playing pool. Although he has lived in Poland, IN for the past 13 years; he has lived in Indianapolis, IN most of his life. He is survived by 7 children, Robert Greene of Gosport,IN, Richard Greene of Houston, TX, Beverly Fox of Indianapolis, IN, Patricia Morgan of Martinsville, IN, Shirley Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Ronald Greene of Elletsville, IN and Donna Greene of Indianapolis, IN; 15 grandchildren and 26 great Grandchildren; 2 brothers, James and Harold Greene of PA; 2 sisters, Judith Cringle of Indianapolis, IN and Barbara Privett of Paragon, IN. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Doris (Flack) Greene and his wife, Ruth (Watson) Greene. Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Monday, May 23, 2011 and 9-10am, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral service will be at 10am, Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery.
