It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Neil "Dick" Enyart, beloved husband, brother, and friend. Dick was born on January 9, 1945, in South Bend, to his parents William Giles and Margaret Ruth (Mason) Enyart, and passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 81. He married Carla Jean (Raney) Enyart on October 12, 1968 and the two spent nearly 58 beautiful years together. Residing in Camby, he dedicated his life to both his family and his career as a devoted Postal Worker with the United States Postal Service, serving with distinction for an incredible 61 years.
A proud 1963 graduate of John Adams High School, Dick carried the values of hard work and determination throughout his life. Known for his golden heart and gentle spirit, he had a genuine love for life, sharing his passions for the Indianapolis Colts and Ford cars with those around him. Friends and family remember him as a hardworking, dedicated, loving, sweet, and kind man.
Dick is survived by his cherished wife, Carla Jean Enyart; his twin brother, John Enyart (Emmily); his sister-in-law, Linda Hasecuster (Larry); as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever treasure his memory. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judith LaVerne Stave.
In honor of Dick's life, the funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026. A visitation will take place at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating his life will commence at 1:00 PM, leading to a graveside service at Fairfield Friends Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dick's memory to John Enyart in c/o Richard Enyart, to help offset funeral expenses.
As we gather to remember and celebrate Dick's life, we invite all who knew him to join us in honoring the legacy he leaves behind-a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
