Richard Adams

Richard Doyle Adams, 65, of Mooresville, IN died May 9, 2005. He was born December 22, 1939 to the late Frank Adams and Esther (Cates) Garner. He married Pat (Wise) Adams on October 12, 1961. He was a 1962 Graduate of George Washington High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was discharged in 1964. He was a Conductor for Con-Rail (IU Rail) in Indianapolis for 40 years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Community Center in Plainfield, IN. He was a member of the Mooresville Eagles #1747. He is survived by his Wife: Pat Adams of Mooresville, IN; 3 Children: Rick Adams of Mooresville, IN; Teresa Goode of Martinsville, IN; David Adams of Mooresville, IN; 4 Grandchildren: Michael Goode, Steven Goode, Cassondra Adams and Brandon Adams; 1 Sister: Jackie Bisson of Indianapolis, IN; 5 Brothers: David Adams of Bloomington, IN; Jim Adams of Ohio; Harold Garner of Texas; Donald Garner of Florida; Jon Garner of Georgia. Vistitation will be 2-8pm Thursday May 12, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary and 10-11am Friday May 13, 2005 just prior to the Funeral at 11am. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
