Reita Garrett

Reita Mae Garrett, 52 years of age passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009. She was born August 31, 1956 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Ralph David Bennett and surviving Marie I. (Curtis) Bennett of Monrovia, IN. Reita married James R. Garrett of Monrovia, IN on September 14, 1974. Reita has lived in Monrovia, IN for most of her life and was a 1975 Monrovia High School Graduate. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church of Hall. She enjoyed working around the home and gardening. Reita was also a Homemaker. She is survived by her Husband, James R. Garrett; 2 Children, Jeremy R. Garrett and Summer R. Garrett; Mother, Marie I. Bennett; 4 Grandsons: Brandon, Dylan, Chris, and David Garrett; and 1 Sister, Regena Baker. Reita is also preceded in death by her Father, Ralph David Bennett and Brother, Gary R. Bennett. There will be a Graveside Service for Reita at 11am, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN where she will be laid to rest. Phil Whisler and Stan Hicks will officiate the service. Jones Family Mortuary took care of the services for Reita Mae Garrett. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
