Raymond Anderson

Raymond C. Anderson, 84, of Camby, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018. He was born on August 13, 1933 to George W. and Ruth Alice (Gray) Anderson in Celina, TN. He married Jollie L. (Watson) Anderson on December 13, 1953.

Before retiring in 1993, Raymond was a Butcher for Doug Dale Beef Company in Indianapolis for 10 years and previously for Rath Packing and Company in Indianapolis for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He lived in Camby for most of his life.

Raymond is survived by three loving children, Donna (Eric) Burdsall of Clayton, Cynthia Guillaume of Camby and Terry (Kathy) Anderson of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Sonna, Eric Jr., Jenny, Ryan, Joshua, Terry II, Stacey, Shaun and Corey; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Benjamin, Hanna, Ashlyn, Eric III, Nolan, Thor, Callon and Bailey; a great-great-grandchild due in August; and one brother, P.J. Anderson of TN. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son, Rickie Clay Anderson; a daughter, Tammy Sue Anderson; a granddaughter, Danielle Marie Anderson; two brothers, Willie Hugh Anderson and Charlie Andrew Anderson; and a son-in-law, Bill Guillaume.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, February 26th and 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27th in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Billy Gott will officiate Raymond's celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27th in Jones Family Mortuary. Raymond will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
