Randy Buis

Randy Joe "Bubba" Buis, 64, of Mooresville, passed away on February 23, 2020 in St. Francis Hospital-South. Bubba was born in Beech Grove, IN on August 25, 1955 to Ray L. and Martha J. (Mercer) Buis. Randy married Jenny J. (Holt) on July 16, 1977. Bubba was a lifetime resident of Mooresville graduating from Mooresville High School in 1974. He was a machinest for GM for 30 years before retiring in 2007. Bubba was a member of First Methodist Church in Mooresville; was an avid room hunter, sports enthusiast and enjoyed working with wood. Bubba is survived by his wife, Jenny J. (Holt) Buis of Mooresville; mother, Martha J. (Mercer) Buis of Mooresville; son, Nathaniel Ray Buis of Mooresville; two brothers: Larry Buis of Plano, TX and Danny Buis of Athens, TN. Bubba is preceded in death by his father, Ray L. Buis. Family and friends may show their love and support during a memorial gathering from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Ron Mercer will officiate the celebration of life memorial service at 7 p.m. following the gathering. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
