Ralph Paul Ward, 83, of Logansport, IN, died July 24, 2006. He was born March 4, 1923 to the late William Alfred and Stella (Fryman) Ward. He was married on November 14, 1955 to the late Kathleen (Egan) Ward. He lived in his birthplace of Kirklin, IN for 10 years. Although he lived most of his life in Stilesville, IN, he also lived in Martinsville, IN for 20 years and in England for 15 years. Before retiring in 1982, he was a Maintenance Supervisor for Associated Service Corporation in Indianapolis, IN for 31 years. After retirement, he worked as a Bartender at the Monrovia Inn in Monorvia, IN for 5 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by 3 Children: Kevin Ward of Logansport, IN, Tammie Higgins of Stilesville, IN and William Ward of Spencer, IN; 10 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren; 5 Brothers: Carl, Oscar, Jim, Raymond & Bill Ward; 5 Sisters: Kay Seipp, Carolyn Broadstreet, Opal Chambers, Marian Lawson & Barbara Wiltermood. He is preceded in death by a daughter: Lisa Ann Ward; 4 Brothers: Gerald, Garold, John & Edgar Ward; 3 Sisters: Helen & Marie Ward & Louise Parks. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, July 27, 2006 & 1 hour prior to the 10am Funeral Service on Friday, July 28, 2006 at Jones Family Mortuary. Steve Ranson will conduct the service. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Krannert Institute of Cardiology for cardiovascular research.
