Ralph Sr.

Ralph O. Parsley Sr., 79, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 11, 2014. Ralph was born to Arthur and Beaulah (Botts) Parsley on November 11, 1934 in Thompkinsville, KY. Ralph married Joan (Bowers) Parsley on June 30, 1962. Ralph was a FOC for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis for 20 years, retiring in 1993. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood. He has lived in Indianapolis for most of his life. Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan (Bowers) Parsley of Indianapolis; six children, Debbie Wingate, Sherri Thompson, Ralph Parsley Jr., Cathy Rothenbuhler, Royce Cole and Cindy Miers; ten grandchildren and three sisters, Eva Smith, Reva Jackson and Betty Haack. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beaulah (Botts) Parsley, five brothers and three sisters. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014 and 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Blake Parsley and Pastor Ernie James will officiate the 11 a.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary.
