Percilla Ann Young

Percilla Ann Young, 78, of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, December 18th, 2024. She was born April 15th, 1946 in Indianapolis to her parents Robert Eugene and Katheryn (Pittman) Young.

Percilla is survived by her brother, Robert L. Young (Linda) of Carrollton, Kentucky; her sister, Sue Bastin (James R.) of Mooresville; and several nieces and nephews. Percilla is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Percilla, who graduated from Mooresville High School in 1964, dedicated her professional life as an Internal Auditor in banking, working at Wasson's Department Store in Indianapolis, Mooresville Savings and Loan, and Citizen's Bank in Mooresville. She was committed to her faith as a current member of Town Center Church and had previously served as Treasurer at Mooresville Church of God. With a love for travel, she found joy in exploring new places, especially fond of her trips to Alaska and the bus tours she cherished. Percilla was an avid walker who found peace in the park, enjoying the little moments of life. Her warm spirit shone through her social interactions as she treasured time spent with family and friends over meals. Above all, her deep love for her family was evident, reflecting the meaningful connections that filled her life with warmth and joy.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 12 (noon) to 1 pm on Saturday, December 28th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Percilla will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
