Peggy Lou Palmer, of Mooresville, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. She was born March 5th, 1929 in Sanborn, Indiana to her parents, Ivan and Helen (Haynes) Hill. She married the late Bobby Palmer on October 2nd, 1946.
Peggy is survived by her four children; Marsha (Steve) Denning of Martinsville, Robert (Debbie) Palmer of Indianapolis, Mark Allen Palmer of Mooresville, and Anna Whited of Farmersburg; 24 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and one brother, Herb Hill of Mooresville. Peggy is preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Bobby Palmer; 5 brothers, Samuel, Melvin, Robert, Ivan Jr., and Howard; 4 sisters, Hallie, Elabel, Betty, and Sonja; her sons David and Joseph Palmer, her daughter, Gloria Shipley; her grandson Brian Palmer; great grandson Cody Palmer and great granddaughter Lauren Stuart.
After retiring from her Sales Representative position with Dan Young Chevrolet in 1991, Peggy became a Mooresville resident in 1996, and was a member of the St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. Peggy's greatest joy was spending time with family, and also enjoyed golfing.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 12pm (noon) to 1 pm on Monday, November 29th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at Jones Family Mortuary. Peggy will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
