Paul Herman "Skip" Jenkins

Paul Herman "Skip" Jenkins, 73, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, February 8th, 2025. He was born October 24th, 1951 in Indianapolis to his parents Lester Freeman and Mable Lucille (Lowe) Jenkins.

Paul is survived by his son, Jason Paul Jenkins Sr. (Diana) of Martinsville; four grandchildren: Lindsay of Frankfort, Jason "JJ" of Martinsville, Lucy of Martinsville, and Henry of Martinsville; three brothers: James "Jimmy" (Jackie) of Indianapolis, Robert "Bob" (Kim) of Indianapolis, and Rick (Terri) of Mooresville; one sister, Linda "Dumplin" (Brent) of Lakeland, Florida; sister in law: Linda Jenkins; and girlfriend, Debbie Edlin of Martinsville.

Paul is preceded in death by both of his parents; daughter, Vicki; one brother, Danny Jenkins; and two sisters: Juanita Lucas and Tina Jenkins.

Paul attended Manuel High School in Indianapolis. As the owner and operator of Mastercraft Truck and Trailer Works until 1994, and then Hoosier Truck and Trailer Service until 2021, he exemplified hard work and dedication. Paul made a significant impact as a member of the Morgan County High School Bass Anglers, where he inspired others by serving as the captain of his grandson's team. His passion for fishing, classic cars, and all kinds of racing reflected his love for life's adventures. He was a member of NHRA. Known for his loving, caring, and helpful nature, Paul truly embodied what it means to be a great father and grandfather, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew him.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, February 15th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
