Paul Thomas Bothwell

Paul Thomas "Tom" Bothwell, 83, of Mooresville, passed away Monday, December 13th, 2021. He was born July 20th, 1938 in Indianapolis to his parents, Robert Darrell and Bernice (McKaughan) Bothwell. He married the late Betsy Delores (Newkirk) Bothwell on September 5th, 1959. He was a resident of Mooresville for 36 years. Tom is survived by his two children: Paul Thomas Bothwell Jr. of Mooresville and Theresa Morning of Mooresville; seven grandchildren: Josie Dillon, Thomas Bothwell, Jimi Bothwell, Betsy Ann Mitchell, Joshua Morning, Jacob Morning, and Josiah Morning; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Bothwell; and one sister, Jo Ann Fitzgerald. Tom is preceded in death by both of his parents; and his wife, Betsy Delores (Newkirk) Bothwell. Tom was a 1957 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. He later on joined the United States Army. Tom was a Carpenter for 10 years at Impact Restoration in Indianapolis and a previous Forman for Link Belt at the Belmont Plant for 24 years. He also worked 10 years at National Starch in Indianapolis. Tom was a member of the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge #723 along with Lynhurst OES #505 and Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. He attended Valley Mills Christian Church. Tom loved spending time with his family. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, December 17th and from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, December 18th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 18th following visitation at the funeral home. Tom will be laid to rest next to his wife Betsy, at Highfield Chapel Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.
