Patsy S. Whitehouse

March 10, 1942 — February 13, 2020

Patsy S. (Callahan) Whitehouse, 77, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, February 13th, 2020. She was born March 10th, 1942 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to parents, Ruben and Velvet (Howard) Callahan. She lived in Illinois for five years, but was a resident of Monrovia for most of her life. Patsy is survived by her two loving children, Kitty (Randall) Cowan of Plainfield and Bud (Karen) Whitehouse of Martinsville; five grandchildren, Cheryl Harris, Adrienne Bangle, Lauren Cowan, Jessica Cowan, and Amanda Whitehouse; five great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas, Rayford and Dallas Callahan; and one sister, Martha King. Patsy is preceded in death by both of her parents; one daughter, Sue Harris; and one brother, Jessie Lee Callahan. Patsy was a Housekeeper for Cane Creek Rehabilitation Center in Tennessee. She was also a Cook for Miller's Merry Manor in Indianapolis. Patsy enjoyed sewing and embroidering. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 17th and from on 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at the Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at the funeral home. Patsy will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
