Patsy Bryant

Patsy (Melton) Bryant, 73, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away at her home with family by her side as she went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born November 3, 1942 in Crawford County, Indiana to Glenn Melton and Dessie (Cummings) Mauck. Patsy married Larry E. Bryant on June 9, 1961.

Patsy lived in Mooresville for most of her life. She was a 1960 graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Church where she served on several church ministries. Patsy worked at Mooresville High School for twenty years before retiring in 1997.

Pasty is survived by her husband, Larry E. Bryant; daughter, LB (Kevin) Wong of Zionsville; son, Jeffrey (Marybeth) Bryant of Mooresville; grandson, Avner Wong; brother, Marvin Melton; and sister, Brenda Nunnally. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Waddle.

Family and friends may gather 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 and 9-10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Mt. Gilead Church: 6019 East St. Rd. 144, Mooresville, IN. Pastor Terry Crist will officiate the Celebration of Life service at 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016. A private burial service will be held immediately following at White Lick Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
