Patricia Barry

Patricia Mildred (Cosand) "Pat" Barry, 76, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at her home. She was born November 14th, 1942 in Indianapolis to Fred and Esther (Parks) Cosand. She married David M. Barry in 1979. She lived in Mooresville for most of her life. Pat is survived by her husband of 40 years, David M. Barry of Mooresville; one daughter, Jerri Leverett (Jim) Garmon of Greenwood; two sons: Jason (Alexis) Cosand of Plainfield and Patrick Barry of Mooresville; 10 grandchildren: Kasey, Brittany, Kristi, Daltyn, Kayla, Jacob, Tyler, Trinity, Hayden, and Atom; 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Michael Cosand of Champaigen, Illinois. Pat is preceded in death by both of her parents; two children: David Randolph and Michael Randolph; two brothers: Fred Cosand and Steve Cosand; and one sister, Becky Simmons. Pat attended University of Indianapolis and was a Correctional Officer for the Indiana Correctional Facilities for 15 years. She owned and operated Honey- Do Ceramics in Mooresville for 10 years. She was a member of the Indy Tollers Art Association. She was very artistic, loved acrylic painting, crocheting and calligraphy. She enjoyed astrology, reading and movies. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25th and 10-11 a.m. on Friday, July 26th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. There will be a celebration of life service held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26th at Jones Family Mortuary.
