Orvil Cottongim

Orvil L. Cottongim, 86, of South Pasadena, FL, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2012. Orvil was born to William F. & Eliza J. (Woodall) Cottongim on November 13, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN. Orvil was a Korean War, Navy Veteran. Orvil married Rosemary I. (Toney) Cottongim on October 19, 1946. Orvil was a Technician for Union Carbide in Speedway, IN for 42 years. Orvil lived most of his life in Brownsburg, IN. Orvil is survived by a brother, Harold Cottongim of Brownsburg, IN & several nieces & nephews. Orvil is preceded in death by his parents, William F. & Eliza J. (Woodall) Cottongim, his wife of 65 years, Rosemary I. (Toney) Cottongim & a brother, Okey Cottongim. Calling hours for Orvil will be from 11-12 noon, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Charles Paxton will officiate the 12 noon funeral service on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Orvil will be laid to rest at Brownsburg Cemetery.
