Ora Marion

Ora Gene Marion, 67 years of age passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008. He was born March 17, 1941 in Scottsville, KY to the late Doss Marion and the late Annie (McGuffey) Marion. Ora married Peggy (Blankenship) Marion of Camby, IN on June 11, 1960. Ora has lived in Camby, IN for the past 25 years, Scottsville, KY for 25 years, and in the Indianapolis area for most of his life. He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ. Ora was a Millwright for GM in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years before retiring in 1996. He is survived by his Wife, Peggy (Blankenship) Marion of Camby, IN; 1 Daughter, Regena Rees of Camby, IN; 2 Grandsons, Dallas and Dustin Rees of Camby, IN; and 1 Great Grandson, Caleb Rees of Camby, IN. He is also preceded in death by 5 Brothers and 1 Sister. There will be a Graveside Service for Ora at 1pm, Friday, September 19, 2008 at Maple Hill Cemetery where he will be laid to rest in Plainfield, IN. Michael Harden will be the one to officiate.
