Norma Jean (Foster) Russell, 87, of Englewood, Florida passed away Saturday, January 28th, 2023. She was born June 17th, 1935 in Oklahoma to her parents Hoil and Irene (Edwards) Foster. She was married to the father of her children, the late Ralph Minnick of Mooresville, She married the late Thomas J. "Tom" Russell on May 6th, 2000. She was a resident of Mooresville for most of her life.
Norma Jean is survived by her son, Bobby Minnick of Poland, Indiana; her daughter, Debra Minnick (Kevin) Loy of Englewood, Florida; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren; and son in law, Kenneth "Kenny" Moore. Norma Jean is preceded in death by both of her parents; her first husband, Ralph Minnick; her husband, Thomas J. "Tom" Russell; one daughter, Karen Moore; one son, Ralph Dean Minnick; one daughter in law, Carol Minnick; one brother; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Millissa Moore
Norma Jean loved to dance and play cards. She was loved by so many people. Everyone that met her, loved her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, February 3rd and from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, February 4th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am following visitation at the funeral home. Norma Jean will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
