Norma J. Rich (Bennett)

Norma J. (Bennett) Rich, 75, of Plainfield, passed away Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. She was born May 12th, 1950 in Indianapolis to her parents Taylor and Parlie (Allen) Bennett. She married the late Gene A. Rich on February 16th, 1974.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Regina Lewis (Christopher) of Camby; two granddaughters: Lena Lewis and Kristin Brewer (Kollin); and soon to be expected great grandson.

Norma is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Gene Rich; and three brothers: Robert Allen, Rex Franklin, and Roger Bennett.

Norma, a 1968 graduate of Decatur Central High School, pursued her dreams by earning an associate's degree in Data Entry from Ivy Tech College. With 11 years of dedicated service in customer support at All State Insurance, she touched many lives. An avid crocheter and word puzzle enthusiast, she embraced life's challenges with joy. Known for her strong Christian faith, her bubbly, outgoing personality made her a true social butterfly—always finding a friend in everyone she met.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, September 2nd at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. Norma will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
