Nora Jane Mayo

Nora Jane (Patrick) Mayo, 64, of Camby, passed away Friday, August 9th, 2024. She was born on August 3rd, 1960 to the late Earl and Cellestine Joann (Ross) Patrick. She married Dale Mayo on March 7th, 1981.

Nora is survived by her husband; two sons: David Mayo of Indianapolis and Adam Mayo (Jennifer) of Danville; seven grandchildren; Haylee, Zoey, Brody, Isaiah, Greyson, Isabella, and Isaac; one sister, Glenda Durham (Jack) of Windsor, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.

Nora is preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother, Stephen Patrick; and one sister, Jackie Spaulding (survived, Dr. Richard Spaulding).

Nora was a 1978 graduate of Monroe Central High School. From a young child until 2003, Nora attended Parker City Christ Fellowship Church, then later became a member of Plainfield Christ Fellowship. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for St. Francis Animal Hospital in Mooresville and was a church secretary on and off for 10 years. Nora loved being a "Nonna" to her grandchildren and enjoyed tending to horses. Her husband always told her "SHMILY" and she was "one in a million". She was loved by all of her family and will be greatly missed.

A private visitation will be held at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, August 16th at 10 am at Parker City Christ Fellowship, 12201 County Rd 150 N Parker City, Indiana 47368. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
