Neal Jr.

Neal "Buddy" Shaw, Jr. 79, of Amo, IN, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at 2:02 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 29, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Homer Neal and Reba (Updike) Shaw. He was a 1944 Decatur Central High School Graduate. Before retiring in 1996, he was a School Bus Driver for Decatur Township School District for 34 years. Previously, he worked for Commonwealth Insurance and Maplehurst for several years. Neal was a member of Amo Methodist Church, Decatur Township Lions Club and Former President of Decatur Central High School Band Boosters. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Monday January 16, 2006 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, with calling there from 12pm until service and 5-8pm Sunday, January 15, 2006. Chris Renick will officiate services. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Ronal McDonald House -or-Vista Care Foundation. Neal was preceded in death by his sisters, Naomi Williams and Gwendolyn Shaw. He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Yorger) Shaw of Amo, whom he married March 20, 1948; 5 children: Larry (Karen) Shaw of Camby, Rick (Lynn) Shaw of Lebanon, Daniese (Pat) McKenzie of Indianapolis, Yolanda (Scott) Manson of Plainfield, and Kimberlie (Bob) Hudson of Amo; 11 Grandchildren: Ginny, Christopher and Andrew, Stephen, John, Marianne and Nathanael, Annette, Tamara and Kara, and Veronica; 1 Great Granddaughter, Ashley; and 1 sister, Betty Kitley of Missouri.
