Nancy Wright

Nancy Sue Wright, 72 years of age passed away Friday, November 14, 2008. She was born June 19, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Warren and Martha (Rott) Leighty. She married Kenneth L. Wright of Mooresville on June 2, 1984. Nancy has lived in Mooresville for 34 years, Bloomington, IN for 5 years, and in Indianpolis, IN for 31 years. She was a 1954 Bloomington High School Graduate and attended IU for 2 years. She was a member of the Monrovia Christian Church, member of Board of Directors at Hill Water Corporation for 9 years, Sigma Kappa Sorority, Psi Iota XI Women's Service Sorority, also enjoyed gardening and handy crafts. She was a clerk for Hill Water Corporation in Mooresville, IN for 3 years. Previously, she owned and operated Wright's Nursery in Mooresville, IN for 4 years and worked at Big M Bowl in Mooresville, IN for 9 years. Nancy is survived by her Husband, Kenneth L. Wright of Mooresville, IN; 3 Children: Michael H. Johnson of Avon, IN, Douglas W. Johnson of Peoria, IL, and Gregory J. Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Step Children, Rick A. Wright of Mooresville and Steve Wright of Buda, TX; and also 7 Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Margaret Hewitt. Calling hours for Nancy will be from 4-5pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 with the funeral beginning at 5pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. John Holsapple will officiate the service and Nancy will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Lunch Association.
