Nancy Walls

Nancy M. (Howard) Walls, 61, of Poland, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016. Nancy was born to Raleigh and Lottie (Hammons) Howard on September 5, 1954 in Martinsville. She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1972. She married Richard J. Walls on September 3, 1994.

Nancy was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading. She lived in Poland since 2001 and grew up in Monrovia.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Richard J. Walls of Poland; four children, Amy (Bryan) Fletcher of FL, Amanda (Luis) Gonzalez of Mooresville, Derrick (Debbie) Walls of Monrovia, David Andrew (Sadie) Lane of Greencastle; seven grandchildren; a brother, John Howard of Evansville; four sisters, Evelyn Martin of Mooresville, Wanda (Don) Swickard of Avon, Virginia (Mike) Ragan of Camby and Rebecca Sue Foreman of Mooresville. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joe Howard; and a sister, Janet Caywood.

Family and friends may gather from 1-2 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Terry Crist will officiate Nancy's celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary. Nancy will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville.
