Minnie Trusty

Minnie Trusty, 93 of Plainfield, IN passed away Friday, April 4, 2008. She was born May 30, 1914 in Liberty, KY to the late Claude Bell and the late Ellen (Atwood) Bell. Minnie married the late Homer "Slim" Trusty on June 4, 1931. Minnie lived in Waverly, IN for 27 years and in Plainfield for most of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield, IN and was also in the Moose Ladies Auxillary in Indianapolis, IN. Minnie was a Baker at Kroger in Plainfield, IN for 9 years and retired in 2006. Minnie is survived by 2 Daughters, Idonna (Delmos) Bishop of Mooresville, IN and Sue (Ray) Meade of Mooresville, IN; 13 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; 29 Great Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Herbert Bell of Shelbyville, IN; 2 Sisters, Velma (Sparky) Reynolds of Mooresville, IN and Ruth Martin of Greenwood, IN; and 2 Sister in laws, Alice and Ellen Bell of Indianapolis, IN. She is also preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Betty Shipley; 6 Brothers: Johnny, Tommy, Otto, Ray, Eddie, and Vitus Bell; 2 Sisters, Pauline Scott and Bersha Pauley; 1 Granddaughter, Pauleta Herald; 2 Great Granddaughters, Heather Harald and Brandi Shipley; and 1 Great Great Grandson, Elijah Laskowski. Calling hours will be from 3-8pm, Monday, April 7, 2008 with the funeral at 10pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Mark Craig will officiate the service and Minnie will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Americare Hospice 1150 N.
