Milton Allen Stuart

Milton Allen Stuart Jr., 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, May 30th, 2022. He was born May 1st, 1939 in Indianapolis to his parents Milton Allen and Mildred M. (Hankins) Stuart Sr. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life. Milton is survived by his three children: Darla Stuart of Martinsville, Mark Stuart of Martinsville, and Stacy Stuart of Mooresville; and three grandchildren: Laynie, Cameron, and Mitchell. Milton is preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother, Richard Stuart; and one sister, Carolyn Cranfill. Milton served in the United States Air Force. He was a Heat Treat Operator for Allison's Transmission in Plant #5 in Indianapolis for 30 years before retiring in 1992. Milton was a member of Brownsburg American Legion Post #98. He enjoyed golfing and was given the opportunity to help build both Brownsburg Golf Course and Quail Creek in Pittsboro. Family and friends may show their love and support for a memorial gathering from 5 to 7pm on Monday, June 6th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
