Mildred A. Pate, 81 of Clayton, IN passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007. She was born July 27, 1925 in Bloomington, IN to the late Charles A. and Leeola (Wampler) Terrell. Mildred was married to the late James E. Pate on March 1, 1945. She lived in Clayton for 48 years and in Franklin for 11 years. She was a member of the Hazzlewood Christian Church and she was a cashier for Krogers in Mooresville for 14 years before retiring in 1985.
Mildred was survived by 2 Children: Carolyn (Pate) Clements of Monrovia, IN and George Pate of Monrovia, IN; 1 Granddaughter, Dana Noel of Monrovia, IN; 1 Grandson, Doug Clements of Monrovia, IN; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Fredia Terrell of Bloomington, IN and Doris Terrell of Bloomington, IN; and 1 Brother, Raymond Terrell of Bloomington, IN. Mildred was also preceded in death by 6 Brothers: Emory Terrell, Carlos Terrell, Wilbur Terrell, Elmer Hugh Terrell, Lee Edward Terrell, and Charles Terrell; and 1 Sister, Josephine Duncun.
Calling hours will be from 10-11am, Thursday, February 22, 2007 and the funeral will begin at 11am both at Hazzelwood Christian Church. Steve Ranson will be officiating the service. Mildred will be laid to rest at Clayton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
