Michelle Lynn Muñoz

Michelle Lynn Muñoz, 44, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, August 31st, 2024. She was born June 6th, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to her parents Luis Angel Muñoz and Carol (Baker) Powell.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Carol (Rick) Powell of Indianapolis; four sisters: Angie Olmstead (Walt), Trisha Bodell (Kyle), Jamie Strahm (Jon), and Jenica Clem; two brothers: Ricky Powell and James Clem (Bree); two nieces: Kelsi Clem and Allie Davis; two nephews: Brock and Bryce Bodell; several other nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; and her fur babies, Lucy and Chops.

Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Luis Angel Muñoz.

Michelle was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was previously a Head Custodian of Mooresville High School for five years. She attended Life Line Baptist Church. Michelle loved spending time with her friends and family and caring for her fur babies. She was known by many to be a fun and caring person, that loved everyone.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 5th and from 10 to 11 am on Friday, September 6th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am following visitation at the funeral home on Friday, September 6th. Michelle will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
