With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Dwaine Wilcher on May 24, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on April 1, 1962, in Mooresville, to his parents Estel J. and Mabel Evelyn (Lee) Wilcher, Mike was a beloved son, dedicated husband, cherished father, and a loyal friend to many. He lived his life with steadfast devotion and an unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He married Kimberly Ann (Craig) Wilcher on July 11, 1987 and the two spent nearly 39 beautiful years together.

A proud graduate of Mooresville High School in 1980, Mike spent 37 years in the radiator industry and the last 12 years of his life as a Shop Supervisor at Roppel Industries, where his work ethic and commitment were admired by all who worked alongside him. Outside of work, Mike's passions ran deep; during his younger years, he enjoyed the thrill of horses and the beauty of classic cars and trucks. He could often be found tinkering in his garage, a place where he found solace and joy.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Wilcher, and his son, Michael J. Wilcher. He will also be remembered fondly by his sister, Karen Rogers, as well as his nieces and nephews, Eric Rogers (Crystal) of Mooresville and Lora Guernsey (Shaun) of Martinsville, all of whom will miss his warm presence in their lives.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother, Jeffrey Alan Wilcher. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.

As we say goodbye to a man who embodied the values of tradition and loyalty, we cherish the lasting impact he had on those fortunate enough to call him a friend. May he rest in peace, forever remembered in our hearts.
