Michael Webster "Mike" Plunkett, 82, of Camby, passed away Saturday, June 7th, 2025. He was born October 24th, 1942 in Mooresville to his parents Lovain O. and Catherine E. (Felix) Plunkett. He married Louise (Saltsgiver) Plunkett on August 6th, 1983 and the two spent nearly 42 beautiful years together.
Mike is survived by his wife, Louise Plunkett of Camby: two sons: Doug Beasley of Camby and Greg Beasley of Camby; several grandchildren; and three siblings.
Mike is preceded in death by both his parents and three siblings.
Mike, a proud graduate of Monrovia High School in 1961, later obtained his associate degree from GM. He dedicated 31 years as a Quality Inspector at Allison Gas Turbine in Indianapolis and owned Plainfield Radiator Service for eight years. As a Master Mason at Monrovia Masonic Lodge #654 and a member of the Fairlane Club of America, Mike exemplified commitment and community spirit. A member of Gasburg Baptist Church, he embodied faith and service.
Passionate about motorcycles, drag racing, scuba diving, and traveling, Mike found joy in life's adventures. His true passion lay in working on and building Ford cars and trucks, reflecting his hands-on approach to life. He treasured quality time with his two sons and grandchildren, leaving a legacy of love and dedication. Known for his hard work and devotion, he touched many lives as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, June 16th with Masonic services starting at 7:45 pm at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
