Michael Marlnee

Michael Joseph Marlnee, 56 years of age passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009. He was born January 1, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John S. Marlnee and Mildred (Pierpont) Poehler. Michael has lived in Eminence for 16 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years. He was a Army Veteran and loved fishing, baseball, and dragracing. He was also a self employed painter for several years. He is survived by 4 Children: John Marlnee of Huntington, IN, Jessica Marlnee of Indianapolis, IN, Janice Marlnee of Eminence, IN, and Michael Marlnee Jr. of Eminence, IN; 5 Grandchildren: William, Brittnie, Sean, Ashlei, and Jacob; 1 Brother, Jerry Poehler of Avon, IN; 2 Sisters, Pat Craig of NC and Judy Hart of Indianapolis, IN. Calling hours for Michael will be from 4-8pm, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary and also 1 hour prior to the service. The funeral will be at 10am, Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary with John Shassner to officiate. He will be laid to rest at Shumacher Cemetery in Eminence, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
