Michael A. Romer Jr., 44, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 18, 2013. Michael was born to Michael A. Romer Sr. and Carol (Lee) Romer on October 10, 1969 in Danville, IN. Michael married Shonda L. (Rost) Romer on March 12, 1994. Michael owned and operated Mike's Guttering out of Mooresville, IN for 25 years. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, playing softball and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also a member of the Tightline Bass Club. He has lived in Mooresville, Plainfield, Clayton and his birthplace of Danville, IN. Michael is survived by his wife of 19 years, Shonda Romer of Mooresville, IN; two sons, Andrew M. Romer and Ricky Romer, both of Mooresville, IN; his mother, Carol Romer of Clayton, IN; a sister, Laura Troy; two brothers, David and Bill Romer; several nieces and nephews and great nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Romer Sr. Family and Friends may attend calling hours from 4-8 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013 and from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Don Endsley will officiate the 2 p.m. celebration of life service on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary. Michael will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
