Michael Dean "Mike" Gregory, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on April 18, 1944, in Indianapolis, to his parents Gilbert and Margery Jean (Plummer) Gregory, Mike lived a life filled with love, dedication, and memorable moments that touched the hearts of all who knew him. He married Linda Sue (Winningham) Gregory on December 17, 1965.

A proud graduate of Plainfield High School's Class of 1962, Mike furthered his education by earning a Bachelor's Degree from Northwood University. He enjoyed a distinguished career in the training center at Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, where he worked for over 35 years, before retiring. Mike cherished his time there, often reminiscing about the experiences and friendships he built along the way. His work ethic, kindness, and dedication set a remarkable example for colleagues and family alike.

Outside of work, Mike was a man of many passions. He loved spending time with his family, whether through traveling, playing poker, or simply enjoying each other's company. During his younger years, he found great joy in the great outdoors, where he delighted in hunting and fishing. Mike was known for his gentle spirit, faithful nature, and hardworking demeanor, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Linda Sue Gregory, of Camby; their son, David Gregory, also of Camby; two cherished grandchildren, Draco and Adrianne Gregory, both of Indianapolis; two beloved sisters, Cindy Gregory Arnot (Dean) of Mooresville and Cathy Gregory Costin of Monrovia; as well as several nieces and nephews who will hold his memory dear.

Mike is preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister, Jody Gregory, who remain in his memories with love and reverence.

In honor of Mike's life, family and friends are encouraged to gather to share stories, laughter, and tears as they remember the man who brought so much joy to their lives. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.

As we remember Michael, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for family. He will be forever missed and always remembered in our hearts.
