Mavis Meyer

Mavis A. Meyer, 75 years of age passed away Friday, December 11, 2009. She was born February 2, 1934 in Clay County, IN to the late John and Mary (Howald) Meyer. Mavis lived in Hall, IN for most of her life and Graduated from Monrovia High School. Previously, she attended Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Hall, IN. She worked as a Purchaser for Stokely-Vancamp in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years. She also worked for Vernon Insurance in Indianapolis, IN. Mavis is survived by 1 Brother, Robert Eugene Meyer of Mooresville, IN and 1 Sister, Wilma King of Plainfield, IN. She is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Lloyd and Chester Lee Meyer and 2 Sisters, Elizabeth "Annie" Meyer and Dorothy Arthur. Calling hours for Mavis will be from 4-7pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. The Graveside Service will be at 11am, Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
