Maurice Williams

Maurice Dale "Mike" Williams, 64, of Mooresville, IN died June 1, 2010. He was born March 17, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Orion L. & Gladys M. (Grose) Williams. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He married Janice (Lambert) Williams on May 1, 1971 and she survives. Before retiring in 2002 , he worked in Maintenance for Damar Homes in Indianapolis for 6 years. He has lived in the Mooresville area since 1981 and Indianapolis for 36 years. He also enjoyed fishing, playing on computers and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Janice Williams of Mooresville, IN; 3 children: Fred (Jayne), Mistie (Josh) and Christopher (Stephanie) Williams, all of Mooresville; 8 grandchildren: Danielle, Brett, Tyler, Bryan, Allie, Jordan, Madison & Hank Williams; 2 brothers: Robert Grose & Melvin Williams; 3 sisters: Irene Jones, Faye Roell and Millie Tretter. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Marvin & Marion (Buck) Williams and 2 sisters: Margaret White & Esther Matlock. Calling will be from 11-1pm before the 1pm funeral service on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Dan Grisell will officiate the service.
