Mary Ward

Mary A. (Keller) Ward, 97, of Camby, IN, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2017. Mary was born to Charles and Marie (Jarrett) Keller on September 9, 1919 in Brazil, IN Mary married Raymond "Eugene" Ward on August 8, 1939.

Mary was a homemaker and also worked at RCA in Indianapolis for 10 years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Catlen, IN. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved all kinds of crafts. She has lived in Camby since 1950 and Rockville, IN for 18 years.

Mary is survived by three loving sons, Raymond Darrell Ward of FL, DeWayne Lee Ward of Mooresville and Denis Earl Ward of Avon; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ida Jackson of AZ. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Roy Arnold Ward; two grandchildren, Kimberly Weber and Jerry Whiteside; three brothers, Harold "Red", William and Leon Keller; seven sisters, Mabel Jacks, Geneva Smith, Opal Snyder, Lola Hartley, Beulah Carbone, Eulalia Maxwell and Wanetta Webb.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 and 9-10 a.m. on Monday, April 24 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Billy Gott will officiate Mary's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
