Mary Lawrence

Mary Frances Lawrence, 83 years of age passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. She was born December 10, 1926 in Owen County, IN to the late Dolphus and Hester Janyce (Creech) Ooley. Mary married the late Myron Lawrence on May 10, 1946. She was a Camby, IN resident for most of her life and was a 1944 Spencer High School Graduate. Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. She was also a Homemaker. Mary Lawrence is survived by 5 Children: Mitch (Pat) Lawrence of Indianapolis,IN, Morris (Diane) Lawrence of Spencer, IN, Mark Lawrence of Camby, IN, Max Lawrence of Mooresville, IN, and Melody Lawrence of Camby, IN; 7 Grandchildren: Julie, Chris, Nikki, Travis, Tyra, Kristen, and Ryan; 7 Great Grandchildren: Austin, Katie, Kylie, Alex, Jared, Tyler, and Logan; 1 Brother, Arthur Ooley; and 3 Sisters: Huetta "Tootsie" Acton, Jane Rhoades, and Margaret "Peg" Manning. She is also preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Clarence "Lee", William "Bill", John and Byron Ooley and 2 Sisters, Helen Dombroski and Susie Engles. There will be calling hours for Mary Frances Lawrence from 2-5pm, Sunday, April 18, 2010 and from 9am-10am, Monday, April 19, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Monday, April 19, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Mary will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
