Mary Gibson

Mary A. (Foster) Gibson, 85, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2015. She was born to Leroy and Mary Ann (Hastings) Foster on March 9, 1930 in Martinsville. She married Chester "Jr." Gibson on June 20, 1964. Mary was a member of Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville. She enjoyed line dancing, arts, crafts, crocheting and playing Tonk. She lived in Mooresville for most her life and 15 years in Indianapolis. Mary is survived by two children, Michael Gibson of TX, Karen (Billy) Jones of Mooresville; four grandchildren, Brett, Jeramy, Brad, Tina; one great-granddaughter; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Foster of Spencer, Leo Foster of Indianapolis; and one sister, Anna Mae McGee of Mooresville. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary Ann Foster; husband, Chester "Jr." Gibson; two brothers and three sisters. Family and friends may gather from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Jeff Faull will officiate her 12 noon celebration of life service on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Mary will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
