Marvin Scott

Marvin R. Scott, 70 of Monrovia, IN passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008. He was born August 1, 1937 in Monrovia, IN to the late Carl Scott and the late Mary (Tincher)Paul. Marvin was a lifetime resident of Monrovia, IN and also Graduated from Monrovia High School in 1955. He loved music and woodworking. Before retiring in 1990, he was a Machinest-Foreman for Federal Mogul in Mooresville, IN for 20 years. Marvin is survived by 5 Children: Marvin D. Scott of Quincy, IN, Tony Ray Scott of Martinsville, IN, Michael W. Scott of Camby, IN, Michelle R. Jones of Eminence, IN, and Tina Marie Scott of Martinsville, IN; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Charles, Melvin, Jim, and Greg Paul. He is also preceded in death by 1 Brother, Larry Paul; and also 1 Sister, Melba Paul. Calling hours for Marvin will be from 4-8pm, Friday, February 1, 2008 and 9:30am-10:30am, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will begin at 10:30am, Saturday, February 2, 2008 with Nick Robertson officiating.
