Marvin "Kent" Park, 67, of Camby, passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 22, 2016. He was born to Marvin Eugene and Thelma May (Trump) Park on June 24, 1948 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1966. He is an Air Force Veteran, who served during the Vietnam War.
Kent was a career truck driver before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed gardening and anything outdoors. He lived in Indianapolis for most of his life.
Kent is survived by four daughters: Carri Ann Foote of Mooresville, Jerilyn Marie (Creighton) Harrington of West Newton, Erica Dawn (Stephen) Thompson of Camby, Kristina Rae (Nicolas) Grafton of Mooresville; nine grandchildren: Destiny, Shalynn, Creighton Jr., Courtney, Jordan, Riley, Skylar, Avery and Raegan; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Pam Park of FL; and a special aunt, Juanita Paul of Plainfield. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Ronie Lynn Park.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville with memorial services being held at 2 p.m.
